Fingers Crossed

My mom goes in for another round of chemo tomorrow. I'm hoping that this round doesn't knock her out the way her first round did. She has been extremely sick for the last three weeks. Amazingly, however, she still has hair! (not much, though) We've decided that the reason why is because she had enough hair on her head to cover three heads. So, she did lose a normal amount of hair for chemo- and for most people, that would have been every hair on their head, but not for my mom. I'm sure this second round will take care of the rest of it. She has to have additional medicines, because unfortunately, the cancer has spread to her bones. They are hoping that they can control it for at least a while longer, but they have told us there would be no cure for it. So, that is discouraging. But, miracles happen... and that's what we're praying for.

And there are lots of other people who are praying for her too! I'll see you tomorrow at the Carnival!

She does have a lot of hair! You do too huh?! Miracles DO happen. And they will. Little ones and big ones. Even in forms you and me and everyone else may not expect it. I love you, I love your mom and your family and I am so proud of how you are all dealing with this huge trial. Thoughts and prayers are floating this way from Georgia. Even from the temple!
