End of the year...

I know, for most of you there are still more than seven months until the end of the year. But, for me, there are officially seven days left in the year. Can I get a Hallelujah? Now, don't get me wrong... I do like my job, and I don't ever dread going to work (like with jobs past), and I do love my little second graders-- but, WHOA! I am ready for this year to be over! I'm trying to hang in there with my patience, but the kids are just as done as I am. We are getting ready for our little Readers Theater production this Friday. Last year, when I did this, I had a TON of parents and other family members come. It went really well. I almost didn't do it this year, but I decided at the last minute to do it, and now I'm not sure if I made the right decision. We're still kind of in shambles. I'm just hoping we can pull it together! I'll be very relieved when Friday is over. I'll be even more relieved when next Friday is over!

Cute blog Andrea. I am also ready for school to end, mornings are not our thing. Ellissa is so excited to have you next year, and so am I! Carrie

You know, even though it is a big pain to get class programs together it means a lot to the parents. Ben has a kindergarten program this Friday too and I am so excited to go see it. So, push forward. If it doesn't go perfectly the parents will just giggle. I sure it will go just fine and be worth it.

I'll give you a "HALLELUJAH!" I applaud you teachers and I agree that it gets crazy towards the end. Your "Reader's Theatre" was adorable last year, don't worry, parents are just happy to see their kids, they aren't worried about anything else! It will be wonderful and soon you will be FREE! (I won't be free though, but I will get to sleep in a little longer...)
